Underground Recording Studios is a Brooklyn based recording facility that features the latest in computer based digital audio technology as well as a wide variety of vintage equipment.

The studio is equipped to record in Pro Tools, Logic and Sonar to provide both the stability of a multi-track environment as well as the benefits of virtual synthesis and other innovations that each program offers.

The live room is able to accommodate live ensembles and features a 1955 Hammond B3 running through a 147 Leslie. For the guitarists a variety of tube amplifiers are available along with a nice assortment of vintage effects for guitar and bass. For the drummers both a real acoustic drum kit is available with the option of using Roland’s VDrums. Finally in the area of keyboards we have a real analog Sequential circuits six voice synth up to the latest offering by Yamaha the Motif XS. Combine all these real instruments with the option of using their virtual counterparts and you have a flexible recording environment that can adapt to differing recording situations.

Because of the power of Pro Tools and its unrivaled design of dedicated Proprietary hardware we are able to capture live performances with full control over editing the sound: ideal for Jazz, Blues, Gospel and other improvised based music.

We are also able to provide arranging and producing to artists who would like to expand their music beyond the current scope and not only arrange but also provide the actual music with either live musicians or computer generated virtual tracks.
